Toyota Auris Hybrid hybrid battery replacement
Whether you drive a first-generation Auris Hybrid (2010–2013) or an Auris 2 / Touring Sports (2013–2019): the hybrid technology is the same as in the Prius, and here too the hybrid battery wears over time. Where is the battery and what do we do?
In the Auris Hybrid the battery pack sits under the rear seat, so the boot keeps its space. The battery fan is also located there and draws air from the cabin. If it gets clogged, the battery gets too hot – a common cause of premature wear in the Auris. We replace the pack, clean the fan and then check all battery blocks with diagnostic equipment.

Does the rear seat need to be empty?
Yes, please. Because the battery is under the rear seat, we ask you to clear the rear seat and any child seats beforehand.
How much warranty do I get?
12 months on a refurbished battery, 18 months on lightly used and 24 months on a battery with new cells.
