Battery replacement at your home – also abroad

Has your car stopped driving because the hybrid battery is faulty? Or do you live too far from Purmerend, for example in Belgium or France? No problem: we come to you.

• We come to you – with the right battery for your model in the van, straight to your address.
• Replaced on the spot – the battery is replaced right at your door. This takes about 1 to 2 hours.
• No towing costs – your car does not need to be taken or towed to a garage.

Service area: the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, northern France and western Germany.

Travel costs: for on-site service the travel costs are paid by the customer, on top of the battery price. As they depend on your location, we agree them with you in advance. Feel free to contact us for a no-obligation quote.

Tip for on-site service: the hybrid battery is usually under or behind the rear seat. Please empty the rear seat and boot beforehand and remove any child seats. That way we can get started right away and safely.

How it works

• 1. Quote – Send us your registration number or make, model and year via WhatsApp. You will quickly receive a fixed price.
• 2. Appointment – We schedule a time that suits you. The battery is replaced in our workshop in Purmerend (Signaal 74) or at your home.
• 3. Testing – Every battery pack is analysed cell by cell with special software, before and after fitting.
• 4. Trade-in – We take back your old battery so the cells can be reused or responsibly recycled.

More than just the battery

Not every fault means a new battery. That is why we always look at the cause first. Besides battery replacement, we can also help you with:

• Diagnosis – we read out the complete hybrid system and check every battery cell individually.
• Cleaning or replacing the battery cooling fan – a dirty fan makes the battery overheat and is a common cause of faults.
• Inverter and DC-DC converter – repair or replacement of the hybrid system's inverter.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if my hybrid battery is worn out?
Common signs: a warning light on (red triangle or 'Check Hybrid System'), higher fuel consumption, a battery gauge that rises and drops quickly, or an engine that starts more often than normal. We can read out the battery for you.

Which type of battery suits me best?
If you only plan to drive the car for a few more years, a refurbished battery is the most affordable choice. If you want to keep the car for a long time, a battery with new cells offers the most certainty.

Do you also repair lithium-ion batteries?
We specialise in NiMH battery packs, as used in most Toyota, Lexus and Honda hybrids. For lithium-ion batteries, please contact us for advice.
